For busy employees, to assist disabled individuals, or for anyone who finds a closed door a problem... Power Access door openers can make comings and going easier. The POWER ACCESS® 4300 commercial automatic door opener is designed for opening and closing interior and exterior doors in colleges, libraries, offices, industry, apartment houses, clinics, hospitals, hotels, special and extended care facilities, laboratories and government buildings. It's simple and unique design consists of a 115 volt gear motor, friction clutch and electronics that feature a radio receiver as well as a transformer capable of providing "one shot" 24vdc power to release an electric strike (lock), sold separately. Virtually maintenance free, with a one year limited warranty.

POWER ACCESS® door operators are simple to install. No modification of the door or jambs is required. Plugs directly into a standard wall outlet. Designed for versatility, this opener fits most interior and exterior doors. Left and right hand units are available, in jamb or door mount. If there isn’t enough room above the door, low profile designs may also accommodate.

POWER ACCESS® door openers are activated by a remote wired or wireless signal. Choose Wireless Radio Receiver above if using with Wireless Controllers or Wireless Push Plates. For your convenience, we’ve developed an array of controls adapted for special needs. Choose from push button or push plate wall styles, and wireless coded radio-controlled switches or specialty sip or puff controls, see below for options. Kit also available.

Safety:
POWER ACCESS® automatic door operators have important, built-in, mechanical and electrical safety features. The 4300 permits manual door operation because the wheeled arm does not attach to the door and the door closer will shut the door. On a powered opening, if the door meets an obstruction, a built-in load sensing circuit automatically stops the opener, times out and closes the door. Also features an adjustable, timed, hold-open feature of 0-30 seconds, as well as a signal to open and a signal to close.

Features:
  • The door operator arm is not attached to the door. Instead, a wheel at the end of the door operator arm rolls against the face of the door, pushing the door open
  • The door can always be opened manually from either side without involving the door operator
  • Traffic flow is not hindered by the door operator
  • The Power Access opener is always used in conjunction with a conventional manual door closer, either surface-mounted or concealed. Order a Door Closer 4540 if needed.
  • If the door meets an obstruction during the opening cycle, built-in load sensing circuit automatically stops the door operator arm and returns to the at-rest (closed) position
  • Thermally protected drive motor
  • Adjustable door hold-open time from 0 to 30 seconds, or hold-open that requires a signal to close
  • Auto close feature
  • Many built in logic features (for example, door can be opened manually and close automatically)
  • Easy installation
  • Rugged construction
  • Solid state circuitry
  • Low-cost and virtually maintenance free.
Applications:
  • Fits in most interior and some exterior door applications
  • Left and right hand door openers are available
  • Jamb mount, to push door open or door mount, to pull door open
  • Inverted model, for limited room above the door
Determining the Door "Hand"
The hand is always determined by standing on the "push" side of the door and observing on which side of the door the hinges are located - a door with hinges on the right requires the right hand configuration - door with hinges on the left requires the left hand configuration. Door mount models are also handed from the push side of the door even though the unit is installed on the pull side.
